My files from external hard drive will be immediately deleted

I am using Sequoia 15.2 on a Macbook pro and an external hard disc formatted in Mac OS Extended (Journaled). When I move a file to the Tradh (Papierkorb) I obtain a message "this object will be deleted immediately"

If I do the same with a USB-stick formatted MS-DOS-Dateisystem (FAT32) the file is transferred to the trash folder and can be deleted or recovered from the folder

Can anybody tell me why it does not work on the hard disk and how I can solve the problem?

Are you using the same method to trash from both locations..?

example's:

drag to Trash

control (right) click Delete

control (right) click Move to Trash

Are you running any third-party Cleaning, Optimizing Utilities or AV-ware on the iMac..?

Download and run the free version of EtreCheckPro, from > https://etrecheck.com/en/index.html

Then post your Report, as per > How to use the Add Text Feature When Post… - Apple Community

I do and did the same on both discs.

Without knowing why, it now works the normal way now with both discs. I had to do a forced new start and I also used the hard disc in question with another Macbook with an older operating system where it worked and then it worked also on the new one.

Thanks for your suggestions
