Temporary Files from Former Managed iPhone

Hello,

My iPhone (and phone number) was managed by my former employer and, I assume, a script that they ran to manage the iPhone failed to regularly remove some of the temporary files (or apps), once an update was pushed out. These files (or apps) appear as blank app icons on my phone’s homepage. If I try to delete them by holding down my finger on any of them, they shake as normal but a “negative” sign never appears. On some of my other Apple apps, if I held my finger down for a long time, eventually the negative sign would appear allowing me to delete the app. This is not the case with these. If I click on any of them, they take me to a link to reset my (former) network password. So, perhaps they aren’t apps but just html links.

When I purchased a new iPhone, I kept my old (work) phone number. I restored my phone from the iCloud but these temp files/apps were restored along with my other data and apps.

They don’t seem to be doing any harm but is there any way for me to delete them? Standard methods don’t work.

Thanks.

Ask the IT person at your former work, since your phone was managed by them.
