Move iTunes library and photos from an older iMac to a different user on a new Mac mini

How can I Move iTunes library from an older iMac to a different user on a new Mac mini? Same question with photos. Both were setup under my wife’s user name on the iMac several years ago. We’re retiring the iMac and I will be the only user on the mini. The iMAC had not been powered on for a couple of years. I did power it up this week and initally used migration assistant to move her photos and music to the mini. It would be much easier to manage if it was all under my user name. FWIW, I currently don’t have any music under my user name but I do have photos. The photos and music were backed up to the cloud.

You haven't said where you moved the music / photos to on the new mini? Wherever they are, move the music to your Music folder under your user. Then do a Get Info - Cmd-I - on the folder, set you as user to be the 'owner' and make sure you apply to all files within the folder. That will change the permissions to be you.
