Problem with adding new albums from Apple Music to my library
Hi. This is about Apple Music on Mac. Any help would be much appreciated! For ages I was able to add a new album as a playlist either by dragging and dropping it into my the left with playlists, or by using right mouse click menu 'add to playlist / new playlist'. The album would appear as a new playlist automatically named based on an album title. It doesn't work anymore. Actually it hasn't been working like this for a while. If I simply drag and drop a new album to the left bar now, the red frame appear as before, I can see activity status as work in progress, and an album is being added to my library but not to my playlists. Using right mouse click menu works however I need to type a playlist title myself, and the artwork is a random graphic. Anyone knows why they changed it, and if there's a way to going back to the previous app behaviour? The new way, if it's not a glitch, is counterintuitive and absolutely terrible when it comes to user experience. What's the point of adding a new album to library without adding it as a playlist if I drag it to my playlist section? Help me, Obi-Wan Kenobi.
BTW, it's also ridiculous you cannot select more than one playlist at a time 🤦🏼 So I if I want to remove multiple playlists I need to do it one by one. This is a basic action available in any type of software with a list of items FCS. iTunes was always the weakest app when it comes to UX, and now Music follows the same terrible path.
