"Push notifications not working for third party apps since iOS 18: Ever since my iPhone 13 Pro was updated to iOS 18 push notifications from third-party apps do not come through. [...]This is clearly a problem created by the iOS. Is this on the list of things to be addressed in an upcoming update?"

If Not Getting Push Notifications:
A. Have Persistent Connection to Apple's Servers:
- Start Here: If your Apple devices aren't Getting Apple Push Notifications - Apple Support
- As it Reads: "To use Apple Push Notification Service (APNs), your macOS, iOS, tvOS, and watchOS devices need a persistent connection to Apple's servers over Ethernet, cellular data (if capable), or Wi-Fi."
. BReport this to Apple:
Do your Part: Provide Apple with feedback on this, letting them know about this issue. Apple may not get back to you directly, but the more feedback they receive on this, the more they will know what is occurring, and what bug fixes to include in updates to come. Apple will know nothing of this, if you don't report it to them.
- Go Here: Feedback - iPhone - Apple
- Select: "Bug Report" for the "Feedback Type"
- Comment: that this all began after installing an update. Include the URL of this thread
- Proceed from there as necessary
