Why does my iPhone 16 require multiple hard resets?

Brand new iPhone 16 won't turn on without going through the hard start procedure several times. Why is this happening? I don't want to have to deal with this everyday. Help please.

I am having the same issue and purchased this directly from Apple.com. However, when talking to support they consider the issue resolved since the hard reset worked in getting the iPhone back to working state. It is not considered defective and therefore unable to return. This has occurred multiple times after turning off the iPhone 16 Pro while connected to a charger for multiple hours. What I am worried about is that eventually it will not turn back on when it is out of warranty.

This has occurred multiple times after turning off the iPhone 16 Pro while connected to a charger for multiple hours and then later trying to turn it back on. The iPhone charged properly so no indication on what caused this. What I am worried about is that eventually it will not turn back on when it is out of warranty.

Went to the Apple store and they did diagnostics on the device and was not able to find any issues. The tech's best assessment of the cause was somehow related to the "Optimized Battery Charging" feature maybe is causing the issue when leaving it plugged into the charger extended period of time when the device is turned off. Since it happens infrequenetly under these conditions, he indicated he would pass this along to Apple engineering. A replacement offer was not extended and recommended not to turn off the device while charging. I will try to over the next month to see if it ever occurs.
