Voice to Text fails to spell my name correctly on iPhone
When i push to dictate speach for a text message, its common when sending a text to a new person, or someone whom might not have your contact to start with "Hey it's Erik" I say that and it types "Hey it's Eric"This is a major problem. It's 2025 we have Apple intelligence and it still doesn't understand when I'm dictating a simple common statement of who I am, that it should be able to spell my name. My daughter has the same issue with her nickname Sami not Sammi which is how it spells it. I shouldn't have to go in to explain who I am or set up text corrections. It should recognize a statement like "It's ___ " as a it's the **** owner of the phone and I can use the spelling of his contact info to type his name correctly. I've tryed to use the keyboard auto correct, doesn't work, I shouldn't have to tell siri who I am, it's my contact info. What the **** is up. I'm so frustrated after 18 years of using iphones it still doesn't know how to type my **** name.
