Can I use Android Projector as Monitor with Mac mini M4

I have a Mi 4k laser projector, android TV 9.0 and I want to buy a mac mini with M4 chip to use mainly for screening movies. Is this possible? Do I have to buy a separate monitor?

The projector specs say it is 4k (3840 x 2160) resolution, but the input port is not specified.

The Mac mini M4 spec says it supports 6k resolution at 60Hz over Thunderbolt and 4k at 60Hz over HDMI. It can also support 4k at 240Hz over Thunderbolt or HDMI.

Would that work for you?

depend on if one connects to it over wifi, USB (not displayport using usb-c connector) or ethernet or the likes

or require some app to be connected to from devices

if those things hold true then it can not be the primary monitor for the mac mini, and if it requires some app and there is no macOS version of that app then it can likely not be used even as secondary monitor for the mac mini (or other "computers" )
