How to change input language on iPhone using Mac keyboard in 'iPhone mirror' mode?

Is there a way to change input language on the iPhone with the Mac keyboard during "iPhone Mirror" mode?

iPhone 15 Pro Max, iOS 18

So both your Mac and iPhone are set to Russian qwerty but when you type on the Mac the wrong charcters appear on the phone?

If that is the case, see if while the phone is being mirrored you can go to its settings > general > keyboard > hardware keyboard and tap on Russian and make sure that on the list of mappings that should appear you have Russian Qwerty checked.

I have a Russian keyboard layout set to ЯШЕРТЫ on my Mac, but when I use screen mirroring to control my iPhone, the input switches to ЙЦУКЕН, which is the default layout for Russian on the iPhone. This makes typing quite uncomfortable for me.

Is there any way to make the Mac's keyboard layout work while typing on the iPhone through screen mirroring, instead of the iPhone's default layout?
