WhatsApp messages not delivered to me unless I open the app

problem- Am using i phone 14 pro , recently after updating latest ios to 18 i was facing problem in whats app , if anyone sends me a message it will not be delivered nor i get a notification unless i open the application , senders message will also be in single tick in his phone too .

Solution -

i tried everything from resetting phone , what's app application , what's app notification every possible way but no solution still.

finally i got a solution after trying for several weeks , just delete the whats app application and when you re-install it dont opt for restore data from i cloud or anything just skip re store , everything will be normal again.

hope this solution will definitely help whoever is facing this problem .
