Sudden file deletion on iPad before an exam

i was studying on my iPad and then I had my files deleted ,mostly all data randomly vanished I checked recently deleted and all and i didn’t find any of them

I am frustrated with my IPHONE since the IOS 18.1.1 updated and I lost files I am so frustrated with my IPHONE 13Pro and with Apple in general. I had a file in my docs that was all my passwords, and usernames for certain websites. I also had another file that had all the cute things my son had said when he was a baby. However, with this new update, it deleted. I looked under recently deleted files, I have searched everywhere and yet it is gone. iPhone 14 Pro Files App Automatically Deleting Files over time I have certain files in a folder that I placed there about 1 month ago. Now they are missing but the folders are there with just the folder name, no files. Any suggestions on how to stop this from happening? At this point I don’t trust putting anything in the files app because it keeps auto deleting over time.

If this is a school issued iPad then contact the school’s IT department as they are the only one’s who can help you.
