Home app not showing in iPhone and iPad settings

I had never used the Home app until recently. Although I now control a garage door opener with Home, the app does not show in settings on any iOS device.

Home app in “settings” missing The Home app tells me to go to settings and make a change within the “Home” app. Problem is, I can’t find any “Home” app in my settings. How do I get the “Home” app to show up in my “Settings”.

Home App in settings missing (iPad mini 6) Trying to setup my iPad mini 6 iPadOS16.4.1 as home kit. Location services are ON, connected to iCloud and syncing, still cannot see the Home App under settings. There is a thread with a valid reply on here . It doesn’t work for me. Any ideas? thanks
