Garageband cuts off the first few notes of every project.

No matter if I start recording in measure 2 or measure 20, when I share the song to iTunes it always cuts off the first 2-3 beats. Any suggestions on how to avoid this?

GarageBand recording audio cuts out above certain decibel When recording audio on Garageband, it doesn't record audio above a certain decibel. I've tried resetting controls and I can record audio through the same equipment for other apps with no issues. It's just an issue on GarageBand. I don't know how to fix this. Garageband crashing when I use drummer tracks I was using GarageBand just fine last week, but today whenever I clicked on the drummer tracks to edit it, the app crashes. It doesn't crash when I edit the effects or when I mute the track, but it only crashes whenever I try to edit it. What might be the problem and how can I fix it?
