Clean Open of QuickTime Player?

When i open QTPlayer (via APPS or via doubleclicking a mov file) QTPlayer opens, tries to open the last (i guess by the player windows seen) two previously shown videos, and then instantly quits.

This is that fast, that i can not click any menu item or close any of those windows.

Reopening does the same.

Is there any chance (via Terminal) to open QTPLayer CLEAN? without autoopen/autoplay from older files?

is there a way to reinstall QTPlayer from scratch (since it can not be uninstalled)?

OSX 12.7.6

MacBookPro 13" late 2015 (yes, i know, but except for QTP it runs as smooth as on day one!)

Many apps can reset their prefs when they are launched while keeping Option-Command keys down but it seems QT Player does not do the same.

At least in Sequoia QuickTime preferences are at:

~/Library/Containers/com.apple.QuickTimePlayerX/Data/Library/Preferences/

So, for example, you might try to move com.apple.QuickTimePlayerX.plist to the Desktop, reboot and try if that or doing the same to other files in that folder helps (make a backup and do not trash those files immediately, just in case). I have never needed to do that, though.
