iPad stuck on verifying update
I try to update my iPad and it’s stuck on “verifying update” for over 24 hours.

As described, the process has stalled - potentially due to an interrupted network connection. You will need to interrupt the stalled process with a forced-restart:
Force restart iPad (models with Face ID or with Touch ID in the top button)
If your iPad doesn’t have the Home button, do the following:
- Press and quickly release the volume button nearest to the top button.
- Press and quickly release the volume button farthest from the top button.
- Press and hold the top button.
- When the Apple logo appears, release the top button.
After restarting your iPad, you can continue with the update. It is generally recommended that you keep your iPad connected to its Power Adapter throughout the update process - as this will keep the iPad's WiFi radio active.
