Intermittent volume changes for text messages on iPhone
The phone seems to change the volume on its own especially for text messages. Does anyone else have this issue??

as of recent iOS updates, Apple does not allow you to adjust the volume of text message notifications separately from the overall system volume. This means that if you adjust the ringer or media volume, it will also affect the text message tone, and there is no dedicated control for text message tone volume in the settings.
However, you can adjust the "Sounds & Haptics" settings to set the volume for notifications, including text messages, by adjusting the ringer volume. If you're looking for more customization, such as having a louder text tone without affecting other sounds, you may need to purchase and use custom ringtones.
