The issue is due to iOS update. Thats’it. otherwise it would not explain more than one user with the same problem. problem is emoji keyboard. App Store super slow etc. Apple is just messing up. not to mention that Apple intelligence is only for usa.

You are not alone and your question is not a wrong question.

THE FACTS FOR ME:

08 JAN 2025 My phone had zero issues with Safari loading as expected. My connection via WiFi w/ Cellular and just Cellular and no WiFi posted no problems.

On 09 JAN 2025 at approximately 1000 am Central Standard Time (US) a notice for a new update popped up.

I am diligent and installed the update. There was no statement in the iOS 18.2.1 update notes that I needed to do some type of “pre-op” procedure to my phones settings before installing yet another update.

It is simple logic that dictates our correct questioning of this latest update.

  1. Phone worked fine
  2. Phone is backed up
  3. Installed iOS 18.2.1
  4. My IPhone now has performance issues with Loading webpages, screen freezing when scrolling apps on phone, screen glitching when trying to answer a phone call while my Safari browser is having an AOL dial up loading speed moment.

And just how many backups do we need to do? One should be sufficient. 😂

Shishirkant, nope, it is not just you. 😊

It's not always the iOS update's fault!  Many things can cause phone problems.  If you tell people you think it's an iOS update, it might make it harder to fix or find a solution for the real issue.

Remember, the right question often leads to the solution!

iOS updates aim to enhance user experience, boost security, and fix bugs rather than disrupt core features. The majority of the issues after updates might stem from underlying, unmentioned factors. Updates won't typically alter personal data but may refine settings or features. Backup before major updates for safety. Review Apple's update details and backup advice for a smooth process.

Kindly consider checking your settings and addressing any device issues before attributing the issue to external factors. This could be a pure coincidence that the iOS update affected the iPhone functions.

Before initiating a standard iOS update, it's advisable to create a backup. Have you completed this step? If yes, proceed with the restoration from the backup.
