Itunes Version 12.10.11.2. does not detect Outlook 2016

I installed iTunes Version 12.10.11.2. it detects the presence of my iPhone connected to my computer, but it does not seem to detect that Outlook 2021 is installed in my computer.

When I press SYNC iTunes gives a message saying that Outlook must be installed in order to perform SYNC.

I would appreciate any help in correcting this situation.

I currently have Windows 10, Outlook 2016, & iTunes 12.12.6.1 & I can sync my Outlook. iTunes is asking me to update to 12.12.7. Previously (at least a year or 2 ago), Apple said it was going to remove the ability to sync iPhone with Outlook. Outlook is no longer recognised by iTunes. Why not I understand that support for synchronisation has been removed from iTunes. Certainly, I haven't been able to carry out a synch of my iPhone to my PC for several months. The only option I am offered by Apple is to synch via iCloud but I don't use iCloud and prefer to keep my data local. [Edited by Moderator]

iTunes has stopped syncing with outlook Dell cp, windows 10, iPhones 14, iPad - backup works fine but syncing runs & runs never sync
