I purchased a brand-new iPhone 16 two days ago. However, I don't succeed in turning the keyboard feedback sound off. Followed Apple`s user instructions several times, turned phone off and on, but sound won't go away. Any tips what else to do?

Hello Britta111, Have you tried Settings > Sounds & Haptics > Keyboard Feedback > Sound On or Off > Haptic On or Off.
Britta111, Being a new iPhone and the steps to turn it off didn't work then I would give Apple Support a call and see if they have an answer.

After updating my iPhone SE 2nd Gen to IOS 18 the default 'Keyboard Feedback' was 'Sound' on, and after turning it off, AKA 'None', the sound is still there when I type. It has actually gone silent a few times, but then the sound comes back. I showed this to the Apple tech during a Genius Bar session and they were equally puzzled. Also, 'Text Tones' stutter sometimes since IOS 18. I'm hoping an update will fix these problems.
