after updating ios 18 my photos were deleted
iPhone was updated to iOS 18, not by me, he did it WITHOUT MY PERMISSION. After that, all my photos and videos from 2020 to May 2022 were deleted. How can I restore it?

You can restore your iPhone using a backup, which should reverse the update and the deletion of the photos, yet I’m not entirely sure if it actually helps, nevertheless, it’s the only option available because if I had to guess, the photos aren’t in the recently deleted folder.
