New emoji request

Hello,

My girlfriend and I were looking through the emoji options that you all have so creatively designed and we have one request. The man emoji that is doing a disco dance is a classic emoji to use in any situation but we soon realized that there wasn’t a female version of this emoji. I’m sure you guys are busy up in Headquarters so whenever it’s at your easiest conscience would make me and my girlfriend extremely happy individuals. Thank you and Happy New Year!

Apple is not responsible for emojis, nor do they make them, the Unicode Consortium is.

The reason why Emojis are standardized by a third party company is so they are compatible across all device platforms. Emojis are simply represented by a Unicode character and if Apple created their own emojis, when you sent it to another device from a different manufacturer, it could show up as something completely different. They are not pictures sent from one device to another. Could you imagine if you sent a thumbs up emoji and the other device would display a thumbs down emoji.

All companies just adopt the latest emojis approved by the Unicode Consortium.
