iPhone 16 Camera control not working for Visual Intelligence

So I have Apple Intelligence fully set up and working, when I try to do visual intelligence, I press and hold the camera control button as you’re supposed to, and it is a little glowing animation, for it starts up, but for me, it never actually opens anything, it just continues to play the rainbow animation until I release the button then it Opens the regular camera app

Visual Intelligence not working on iPhone 16 I just got the iPhone 16 on Tuesday (2/25) and whenever I I press and hold the camera control button, it does its magical little rainbow stuff, but then just opens the camera. Even after I press and hold down for five seconds, it still opens the camera. And yes, I do have Apple Intelligence turned on. Is visual intelligence just not ready yet, or am I doing something wrong?

Camera control is not working properly on IPhone 16 pro on IOS 18.3 Camera control has an issue: it was set up to open camera on a press, but now it’s not working. the button itself works, if I open camera and light press - it works as it should if I press - it takes a photo but if I press in any other app or on a locked screen - it does nothing. i checked the settings and they’re ok. i think that the hardware is good and the software is to blame. did anyone encounter this bug?
