Inconsistent Storage Display on Mac mini

Here is my current issue. In Recovery and in Disk utility it shows 100gb but, in System Settings Storage it shows 314GB. How can this be fixed because that is a major difference and I think it slows down my Mac a bit. Any help appreciated.

Mac mini storage issue My M1 mac mini have storage issue. After editing some videos the storage automaticaly going to fulla. When checking storage a portion named system data uses most of the space of 256 gb ram. Any help other than formatting, every time i have to format system after some days. Pls help
