iOS 18.1.1 low power mode is not auto enabling

After updating my iPhone 14 Pro to iOS 18.1.1, I can’t seem to find the setting for low power mode to auto-enable. Before the update, low power mode would auto enable when battery hit 20% but now it has to be turned on manually. How do I get it to automatically switch to low power at a given battery level?

I'm sorry, I read your post. However, it should turn on when the device is in use and you get below 20%. If it doesn't, then I would make a Genius Bar appointment and have it checked, especially since you seem to be able to duplicate the behavior. See what Apple has to say.

If you turn it on manually and the phone is charged above 80%, it should turn off. See if it will automatically turn on after doing that once.

See this about Low Power Mode. Use Low Power Mode to reduce power usage on iPhone - Apple Support

If you turn it on, it will turn off when the charge on the battery gets to 80% or higher. The switch to turn it on is in Settings>Battery. I'm not sure that it no longer turns on automatically, I've not had my iPhone charge get low enough for it to automatically turn on.
