problem with pages on windows, why doesn't it open pages for me so I could continue writing the book while everything is ok on the phone
Apple never created Pages for Windows. A Windows user can access Pages for iCloud via a supported browser and should always store the Pages documents on iCloud, never on the Windows filesystem — unless the Pages document has been exported/downloaded to Windows as a Word DOCX or PDF document.
This is because Pages documents are renamed, zip-compressed archives. Windows does not recognize them as word-processing documents in the same manner as Apple operating systems. Windows sees them as zip containers and will attempt to unzip them and destroy the document's integrity as a word-processing document. Same issue with Pages documents and Google Docs.
