HomePod mini cutting out after 10-20 seconds airplay connection from iPhone

I user my iPod mini mainly for BBC, cashbox or LBC which I connect via airplay from my iPhone 11. Until about a week ago all was fine but now the connections stop after 10 or 20 seconds. I have restarted the router several times. Made sure the HomePod is up to date and turned it off several times. The same with my iPhone. Rather oddly it works using iPhone music just fine. No doubt Apple will deny all knowledge.

HomePod streaming interrupted Is anyone else having the problem of music streaming to their HomePod being regularly interrupted for a second or two? I have the problem on all of mine in different parts of the house. I have reset each to no avail. Streaming Apple Music content on either my iPhone, iPad or Apple TV has no problem. Using Airplay from, say my phone, to any of the HomePods doesn’t have the problem, it’s only when directly streaming to the HomePod that it happens. This is a recent problem, not had it before in all the time I have had HomePods. I have reported the problem back to Apple.
