Touch passcode not working on updated iPhone SE 6

Have upgraded my SE6 iphone and was unable to avoid the touch passcode. As expected, it doesn't work - not once. Is there a way to disable?

Go to Settings > Touch ID & Passcode, and turn off the Touch ID.

Sorry, confused.

I cannot find any iPhone model with a designation of SE 6. There have been 3 versions of the iPhone SE and several versions of an iPhone 6, including an iPhone 6 Plus, iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus.

After you have erased the iPhone and set it up again, are you saying that you do not want to use a passcode at all on the phone? If yes, there is an option to turn off the passcode requirement, but this would allow anyone who picked up your phone to have complete access to all of the data on your phone.
