My Pages suddenly closed and cant be reopened

I have been using pages for my Obstetrics and Gyaencology case writing for the past 3 days.

I was using stage manager as intended, while also using 3 desktop as intended to scroll between pages, images in finder, safari and chatgpt. I also had used discord once yesterday and after noticing that it had my screen tracked on the piracy on control centre i went deep into discord settings for like 30 minutes to disable the screen tracking. After failing to do so, immidiately deleted the app.

Once all of that was settled, went back to Pages to see my progress with intention to close and saved it, noticed that it had suddenly closed. This happened before but before i could have just clicked on the app and all my progress was there. But now it says it has an error and could not open the document. Noticing this and currently fatigue after 2 hours of sleep of doing work on Pages i decided to just shut down and restart my MacBook. All progress till last save which were 5 hours ago were gone. This document is important and will kill myself if my 5 hour progress is gone forever. THIS IS NOT FUNNY
