iPhone 11 Lightning port access to Notes and PDFs on a thumb drive

I want to be able to carry important files, notes (txt format) and pdfs on a thumb drive that can be accessed and read on an iphone 11 without downloading on to the phone. It has a lightning port and the only thumb drive I can find says for music, videos and photos ( Sandisk 64GB). Does not mention other files. Any ideas?

Sorry, that feature isn’t available for your iPhone. Sandisk makes one for iPhones with USB-C connectors that lets you “mount” the thumb drive in the Files app, but it isn’t backwards compatible because it also needs a phone that can support it.
