Troubleshooting a Locked iPhone:

Have reread this, it seems you have a locked Mac. So, contact Apple Support, via chat or phone. Refer to the following...

Hold It Right There!:

Enter the passcode incorrectly too many times, and you'd likely be locked out for good. So, hold it right there, and refer to this link: If you Forgot the Passcode on your iPad, or your iPad is Disabled - Apple Support. It would be the one you've always entered. If you do not know it, then look for it in a location you may have stored it in.

Being Locked Out...

Have any Proof of Purchase?

Unless you have the original packaging and receipt, you may be out of luck. If you do have it, however, then take this to an Apple Store, or an AASP (Apple Authorized Service Provider)! and they may be able to restore it. The reason for this blockage is all about Security & Privacy.

So, Try a Chat with Apple:

See if Apple can assist you via chat.  Apple is picky when it comes to getting a chat to take place about Apple IDs.

To Chat:

  1. Go To: getsupport.apple.com
  2. Select: Get Support
  3. Select: Mac
  4. Select: Apps & Features
  5. Select: App doesn't work as expected
  6. Select: Chat

Finding the Credentials:

Why can they not access their eMail account? Look in Keychain, and in Safari Settings to see if you can find the passwords in there. Is the eMail account locked? If not, it seems resetting the eMail password would let you run through all of this. "Forgot Password" for the email.

Go Through Apple:

Contact Apple Support: Ask the Apple Rep to modify it over the phone. If permitted to do so, then inform to modify the assigned the correct eMail address to your Apple Account, to what it should be. Important: Perform a Trial & Error login session with the Apple Rep prior to ending the phone call.

Contact ApleSupport.

Hey, thanks for your reply. They can actually access to their email but they work from remote and already delete the device from their icloud account. The email they used is not a business one so I have no right to get access to it anyway. I saw somewhere that a billing confirmation would be ok for apple to make sure the device belong to a company and for them to delete the activation lock from the device.

You are welcome.

Talk to the Owner:

If this is a business-owned device, then you should let it be, and let the business handle this.
