Siri not announcing alarms

Wondering if anyone else is having this issue after the last iOS update. I used to ask Siri which alarms are set and she would tell me which alarms are on. Now she just tells me how many are set. I confirmed that I have “announce notifications” on for the clock app and already tried turning off the “attention aware” feature. My mom is blind and heavily relies on this feature so hopefully this can be fixed. Thanks!

Thanks for the advice. All of these setting are enabled and I just reset Siri, same issue. This all started after the update, not sure if it’s related but it’s super frustrating as that’s a really important feature for me

If Siri isn't announcing alarms, you can try these steps:

  • Check Announce Notifications
  • Go to Settings > Notifications > Announce Notifications and make sure it's turned on.
  • Check your device
  • Make sure your iPhone or iPad is locked and the screen is dark. Siri doesn't announce messages if you're using your device.
  • Check your microphone
  • Make sure the microphone isn't blocked by dirt or debris. You can also check that the microphone is enabled by going to Settings > Privacy > Microphone.
  • Check Siri Responses
  • Go to Settings > Apple Intelligence & Siri > Siri Responses > Prefer Spoken Responses.
  • Reset Siri settings
  • If Siri continues to malfunction, you can try resetting its settings
