Image Playground cannot access my photos on one mac but can on the other

I tried Image Playground on an M1 Max Mac Studio and it was able to use my Photos library.

However, on my M4 Pro MBP it cannot.

Both Macs are running Sequoia 15.2.

I tried turning Apple Intelligence off and on a few times.

There are plenty of persons and pets in my Photos library, and they do appear on the Mac Studio, but on the MBP all I get is this:

Any suggestions?

TIA

A work-around I used was to click on the Photo icon in the lower right corner of the app and select Choose Photo.

A pop-up window opened showing my Photos library and I was able to manually select a person from People & Pets.

I suspect these actions may have connected a link between Image Playground and Photos because when I returned to use the app a few hours later all the people in my Photos library were available when clicking on the Person/Choose button. (Maybe it just needed some time to sync 🤔 ) Hope this helps!
