I have no hardware at all connected to my iPhone, which is what I’m running GarageBand on. I haven’t changed any settings that would affect it. Only thing I can think of is making sure the tracks aren’t on solo or mute, and they’re not. I’m not using Bluetooth either. My onboard speakers work just fine. Still, I am getting no sound when playing back at all. What is going on???

I did that, and it did work, but that’s the only way it will play sounds. I don’t only use the touch instruments in the app, I also like recording live instruments, but how can I do that now? Will I have to turn off the mic permission every time I want to playback? That’s doable, but if I could do that fine without having to turn it off before, then there needs to be a way to fix this. Is there?

Have you added any software recently?
Are both your IOS and Garage band app up to date?
Have you tried restarting the iPhone?
No new software, everything is up to date, and I have restarted my phone. Twice.
I had the same problem. Then I disabled microphone access. Now I can hear the sounds.
