Having trouble with my microphone on my iPad. It works in all other apps except FaceTime and Kids Messenger. I’ve tried literally everything and reset all settings and still nothing.
I can record a video of myself and a voice memo and that works but others cannot hear me when on a call.
help!
Your iPad has multiple microphones, each used for different purposes, the relative locations of each varying by iPad model.
Are you using a screen protector or case? Many models of iPad have a pinhole microphone aperture adjacent to the front facing camera. Some screen protectors or fitted cases can cover the pinhole microphone.
If applicable, try removed the iPad from its fitted case and/or remove the screen protector.
