Books won’t allow bookmarks in PDF files

Running iBooks on ipad 5th gen with iOS 16.7.10 with lot of pdf files. I use bookmarks a lot as I regularly read different passages and want to save time searching. Now all my bookmarks are gone and the bookmark tab is greyed out. What happened and what can I do.

iBook bookmarks i’ve had problems with the bookmarks as well. The problems are 1. Bookmark a page it saves it to the last bookmark. I.e. if at pg. 285, I would bookmark it and it will show the last bookmark being at 274. I can’t get it bookmark the current page even if I erase all past bookmarks. 2.why don’t you have a function to delete all bookmarks at once, I like to read my books over a couple of times. 3. how come you can’t double tap the bookmarks to delete them anymore. this app operates worse than when I first started using it! 4.a current problem I’ve had is if I double-tap the bookmark it will lock up the app! I then have to delete it and reinstall it all! My iPhone then consumes power to the point of it getting warm almost hot? What do I do about this?

Chrome bookmarks bar not visible on iPad Setting up a brand new iPad air. Downloaded Chrome browser but cannot see a bookmarks bar. When I press on the three dots at upper right I can see a Star named bookmarks. There I can see a folder named Mobile Bookmarks. However, I want a bookmarks bar like I have on my MacBook. Is it possible?
