Contacts Disappeared After Removing Email Accounts from iPhone
When I first set up my phone a long, long time ago, I synced my contacts from a few email address all of which I stopped using years ago.
For the last few years every time I added or changed a contact I would get a series of pop ups asking me to log into these email accounts. Seeing this as an annoyance I would click cancel on all of them and go about my day. There was never any issue and I’ve been able to retain my contacts despite upgrading phones a few times.
Today after adding a new contact I finally decided I had had enough of these pop ups and I removed the email accounts from contacts. This has also reverted my contacts back to the way the looked 4-5 years ago, presumably before my phone started requesting I log back into my email accounts.
I have done everything I can think of to get my contacts back.
I have added the email accounts back but the contacts weren’t saved there. I have tried to restore my iCloud backup of my contacts but it apparently only started saving this after I lost everything a few hours ago.
Is there something I can do other than trying a hard reset to my full phone backup that was taken last night.
Please help me.
