Apple music queue cleared after exiting app

Say I am playing music from a playlist on Apple music windows, and I close the app or shut down my PC. When I open the app again, everything is reset, and I have to play from the beginning of the playlist again.

But for my previous streaming service Spotify, when I close the app and open it again next time, I can click on the play button to resume the song; The queue is not cleared. This is quite useful imo, because when all songs in the playlist is run through, it will start playing recommend/ similar songs that aren't in the playlist.

Since Apple music clears your queue on shutdown, you'll just play from the start of the playlist over and over, and there wouldn't be a chance for all songs to be played and move onto recommended songs for you to discover new songs.

Can I check if this feature isn't implemented in Apply music or is there a way to prevent the app from clearing the queue on shutdown?
