How to Exit from GarageBand with iPhone 13 Pro max

I can’t exit GarageBand on my iPhone 13 Pro Max unless I totally turn off my phone and turn it on again

Tell iPhone not to be used as device for garageband Ever since the latest updates whenever I have GarageBand open my phone pops up with a screen that it’s connected to my Mac to use as a recording device for GarageBand. I keep hitting pause or disconnect because I’m trying to use my phone for lyrics and to listen to music and other things but it just pops back up every few seconds and closes the app I was using. I can’t use my phone at all while GarageBand is open. I can’t believe there isn’t a setting to not use the iPhone as a recording device. I’ve never seen apple completely miss such an infuriating and obvious user experience issue. I can’t even see other posts about this to be reassured it will be fixed in a future update.
