Is apple intelligence actually any better.

I have downloaded sequoia 15.2 with latest AI enhancements. I asked (by typing) Siri if my Mac mini had a microphone and she replied 'sorry I can't do that'. So I went on google and got a reply. Siri has always been a lame duck and this new AI does not appear to have made any changes. Siri now just asks ChatGPT to answer your questions.

How do I turn off Apple Intelligence in iOS 18.3.1 when 'Apple Intelligence & Siri' option is missing? Hi all, I recently updated to iOS 18.3.1 on my iPhone 14. After the update, Apple Intelligence had automatically been turned on. That's irritating, but a well-known issue. My problem is that I cannot follow the straightforward steps to turn the feature off. If I go Settings> and look for "Apple Intelligence & Siri," there's nothing there. Just Siri. But Apple Intelligence features are now active on my Mail, and if I search for "Apple Intelligence" I can see a ton of buried menu items related to ChatGPT, which I absolutely do not want to use. I cannot tell whether these are currently active, but I hope not. I have tried restarting the phone off 3 times, but that does not solve the problem. How do I get the "Apple Intelligence & Siri" menu item back so I can turn it off? [Re-Titled by Moderator]

Have others found an improvement in Siri with apple intelligence? after receiving “I do not understand” responses, I had this interaction Me: hey Siri you have not improved 1 ounce since you have been upgraded with Apple Intelligence Siri: If you think it could be serious, ask me to call Emergency Services or someone you trust.
