How to transfer WhatsApp chat history from Android to iPhone?

Can't transfer whatsapp chat history. Move to iOS doesn't work. Can't move from android to iOS without my whatsapp.

1. Cannot use the move to IOS app. Despite following all troubleshooting tips like forgetting other networks and restarting the phones, my android device won't connect to the iphone. The iphone is giving me a 6 digit code, but the android phone just won't connect.
2. Move to iOS is only desirable to migrate my whatsapp chat history. The iphone is useless without it.
