Built-in Logic sampler is SILENT across *all* instances and projects - am I missing something?

Recently I was mid-project when I noticed a Drum Machine Designer in my track had gone silent. I was editing automation at the time, no settings touched, no new 3rd-party plugins installed recently etc etc.

It appeared to be registering the MIDI Inputs, and a playhead moved across the one-shots to indicate that they're being played, but no output.

Turns out that this is an issue persistent across every built-in sampler instance across all my projects, even ones that worked perfectly fine yesterday. This also includes built-in presets that use the sampler, such as the Default Steinway.

Other plugins that use samples are working perfectly, and I haven't noticed any issues with other audio sources. It seems to be just the stock Logic sampler that's affected.

So far I have tried:

• Restarting Logic
• Restarting macOS
• Restarting coreaudio in Activity Monitor
• Restarting my interface
• Rescanning all the affected plugins in plugin manager

Is there something I'm missing? Or should I just go for a full reinstall. I'd rather not go scanning back through all my plugins and sorting out my settings again, but I haven't been able to find a fix for this. Tech Specs below for anyone who needs them:
