HomePod playing music, do not know where it

I have a HomePod in a house without Wi-Fi. I asked Siri to start playing some music and I have no idea where it’s coming from, as no apps from my phone are playing any music from I heart music.

I turned on airplane mode and Siri is still playing music. I understand that music can play via airplay, but like I said no apps on my phone or playing this music.

other than a poltergeist , any other thoughts?

Check your HomePod app.

We just went through the same.

Nothing playing on any of our devices and the paused songs on them weren’t even similar to what was playing on the HomePod.

The DH found the songs playing in the HomePod app on his phone

Evidently, Siri has learned what we like and creates a stream directly on the HomePod.

Now we need to figure out how she decided that we need to hear it on Sunday mornings!
