2 Generation One HomePods, Can’t ‘Create Stereo Pair’.

Both on same network, both same room, both updated, both operational. Both showing in the Home App. Home app will not show the ‘Create Stereo Pair’ option. I have done it with the little ones, worked fine. These, nothing. Help!

HomePod stereo pair - one dropping out frequently Having read the previous thread on this subject, I wanted to contribute but the thread was closed. I have raised this again to make my point. I have tried all the suggestions made previously, moving the HomePods away from the router, reducing the tri-band router to using a single band (2.4 gHz) all to no avail. So I took the final option open to me. I ungrouped the pair and sent music to them as two mono speakers instead of a stereo pair. Now I have no drop outs. My conclusion is that Apples stereo pairing process is inconsistent and not fit for purpose.

HomePod 2 I can’t connect stereo pair. One of my HomePods are not in my Home app but I can use it like a normal speaker. I don’t know what to do because someone help me?

Tried everything to setup my HomePods (1st gen.) as stereo pairs. Tried everything to setup my HomePods (1st gen.) as stereo pairs but nothing seems to work. Reset router, reset both HomePods, both on same network, iOS 16.3.

Try restarting them. Unplug each one for about 10 seconds, then try again.
