How to disable AI voice in iOS 18.1?

When typing msg, Ai voice repeats every letter which I cannot get rid of. When OS 18.1was installed , it installed Ai but no controls, etc. nor even any mention of it!!

This has nothing to do with AI on your iPhone. Go to Settings App. Tap Accessibility. Tap Keyboards & Typing. Tap Typing Feedback. You'll likely see Characters turned on, so turn it off.

That has been an accessibility option for many years. This is not on by default and would have been turned on by you or someone that has access to your phone. This has nothing to do with AI.

It's on your what model iPhone? As has already been said, Apple Intelligence is ONLY available on iPhone 15 Pro, 15 Pro Max and all iPhone 16 models.

If you have an iPhone 12 as stated in your stats, iOS 18 did not install AI on your phone. AI is only available on iPhone 16, iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max.
