Can I play Spotify via WIFI?

This is not at all clear to me. Can I play Spotify via WIFI on the Homepod or no? Can I use it together with other speakers of other brands (Marshall and Samsung in this case) to play the same, or different songs? Can I set it up via Google assistent?
