GarageBand update 12.3.17 (iOS 18.x.x) breaks collaboration with 12.3.14 (last update for Gen 6 iPad)

The recent GB update to 12.3.17 (which requires iOS 18.x.x) breaks collaboration with devices running GB 12.3.14. If collaborating on a project and one user upgrades to 12.3.7 and opens a project, when attempting to open the project, the other user will get a prompt that the project cannot be opened and that a newer version of GarageBand is required. If that user is using a machine that can’t upgrade to iOS 18.x.x (e.g. a Gen 6 iPad). That user will no longer be able to open the project. I am surprised that this failure was introduced in a minor update. Apple support should know…how do we let them know.

iPad, iPadOS 17
