How to resolve Apple Music Account issues on Windows?

I have Apple Music downloaded onto my thinkpad l13 yoga via the Microsoft store. For some reason it was signed into my mothers account and not mine. I was able to sign in with my Apple ID and sync library, but when I tried to download any music, it comes up with “this device is linked to another Apple account: you must transfer this device to your Apple account to play content saved offline. You will be unable to transfer this device again for 90 days. I clicked transfer, then the Apple Music screen goes white, no albums or playlists, just the side bar with search etc. What should I do? I’m really quite lost and I really don’t want to wait for 90 days
