Controller Assignments in Logic

Hello,

I need help with setting up the Controller Assignments.

I want to be able to record MIDI CC data during recording, meaning the CC messages should go into the sequencer.

I am using relative mode for the knobs.

I also use 4 modes to switch between knob functions, and different parameter assignments may have different Multiply settings.

For example, when adjusting the waveform selection, I set Multiply to 2 for a faster response, while for fine-tuning the oscillator, I set Multiply to 0.5 for more precise adjustments.

Additionally, for the Control Surface Group, I have the Relative Change mode set to "Fine."

Everything works great, except that I am unable to record the CC values into the track during recording.

I tried using a utility to hi-jack the MIDI port before it enters the Physical Input. This works, but the recorded CC messages are RAW, meaning they are recorded directly from the controller without being affected by the settings in the Controller  Assignments Value (as Relative etc.). This is a crucial issue.

I also tried using Smart Controls, but encountered a similar problem.

I would appreciate any advice. Thank you!
