AKAI EIE pro audio interface not properly recognised, drivers unavailable.

Hi , I am writing to you in need of technical support regarding a device that is not properly recognized by my Mac computer

This device, An audio interface AKAI EIE pro, is classified as class compliant regarding to drivers. Furthermore, the app and drivers listed on the company website are not executable on my system because it is too old ( ie running on 32bit)

Now, I have done a lot of digging, and have determined that my device IS being recognized at a lower system level, the USB port does register my device, and there are no errors.

But, it does not appear in my selectable audio devices in the settings or in Audio MIDi setup.

Nor does Logicx.

I have tried everything and am out of ideas. I really tought this would be plug and play-type

Can you help with this?

-Thank you

I have tried a lot of things and have had some success.

Installed home brew and wine, and I ran the .exe windows extention installer.

for some reason it worked regarding the midi recognition within MIDi Audio setup.

Still not selectable as an audio device.

Trying to compile a driver myself in xcode... might take me a while, I dont have experience with drivers.
