I updated my iPhone 15+ to the newest iOS (18.1.1.) and now when I swipe right, my bank accounts quick balance is gone completely. I can not get a widget for my bank since I updated. This is a major inconvenience and honestly very unnecessary for this convenience to be removed by apple.
Apple didn’t remove it. Your bank needs to update the widget to main compatibility with the required updates to protect your security and privacy.
Have you asked your bank’s support team if they plan on updating the widget? The ball is in the banks court. Does your bank value you as a customer and continues developing and updating apps for your continued use. Or does you bank not really care about providing convenient access to the bank’s services? There are plenty of banks that updated their widgets and they continue to work under iOS 18.1.1

Developers get months to work with major beta versions of iOS. In the case of iOS 18, the first developer beta was released back in June, and dot-release updates since then have been in developers' hands weeks before release. If with that much time your bank wasn't ready with an update when the new version of iOS came out, that's totally the bank's fault, not Apple's. It would be exactly the same issue with Android phones.
Changes coming were all outlined during Apples World Wide Developers Conference last June. Hundreds of Apple Engineers are it lasts about 4 days, dozens and dozens live seminars, engineers available for Q&A and free videos of all the seminars. Banks had 3 full months to update.
A heads up on changes would allow our banks to do so! Issues like these make me think of switching to android phone. 🤬
